    Efficient use of resources.

We aggressively maintain our vehicles and continually evaluate our route scheduling to optimize our use of fuel. We conserve water with our continuous batch washing system, which uses less than 1 gallon of water per pound of laundry. We reclaim 95%+ of the heat from our wastewater before it is sent to the sewer. Our heat reclamation system allows us to “pre-heat” incoming city water and dramatically reduces our natural gas consumption. We reclaim heat from our steam system and boilers that would otherwise be discharged directly to the drain or into the atmosphere.

  • Conservation by design.

    Conservation by design.

We reduce electricity consumption by lighting our facility with LED and T8 high-intensity fluorescents and our automated system strips lint from our dryers to help them run more efficiently. We vigorously maintain our production equipment and monitor and record our utility consumption weekly to continuously find ways to improve.

  • Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.

    Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.

We recycle hangers and all of our plastics, papers, and cardboard weekly and when possible, avoid wrapping our bundles in plastic to leave less in the landfill.

For our hospitality soiled linens, we provide reusable laundry bags and recycle 100% of the liquid proof bags used for healthcare linens. Our textiles are well made and proven to last, which allows us to get the most out of them, and even though they cost more to us, we replace them far less often. We sell our “ragged out” textiles to avoid sending them to the landfill.
